Responsibilities:  The Vice President for Student Affairs provides overall strategic leadership and management in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the CSN comprehensive Student Affairs division. The position has college wide supervisory responsibility for the areas of counseling, advising, recruitment and retention, the registrar’s office, financial aid, international students center, testing, career services, re-entry, disability resources, student activities, student government, intercollegiate athletics, TRIO program and the Millennium Scholarship.

Senior Vice President of Finance & Facilities

Responsibilities:  As the Chief Financial Officer, provides leadership for four main areas: Financial Services, Business Operations, Budget Services, and Facilities Management. Financial Services is responsible for the overall financial operations of the College; Business Operations oversees the "business-type" areas in the College and the Cashier/Bursar function, and Budget Services is responsible for developing and monitoring the College's State appropriated and self-supporting budgets. The areas included within the purview of Facilities Management are site planning and construction, building operations, and environmental health and safety.

Thomas Brown
Chief Campus Administrator, Cheyenne Campus

Responsibilities:  Responsible for overall administration and leadership of the Cheyenne Campus of CSN, report directly to the college president on institutional, governmental and legislative matters, work collaboratively with vice presidents, deans, academic chairs and directors on campus and college-wide initiatives. Administer operational budgets, supervise personnel, and oversee the operation of facilities that support workforce and economic development. Provide administrative oversight for Nellis AFB Site, Mesquite Site, Moapa Valley Site, Latin Chamber Neighborhood Learning Center, and the Department of Applied Technology. As Affirmative Action Officer, responsible for administrating and monitoring the Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Plan and handling all American with Disabilities Act and Equal Employment Opportunity, Title VII, complaints and grievances.

Responsibilities:  Provide leadership and direction for all private resource development opportunities. Design and implement fund-raising programs including annual giving, capital campaigns, special events, planned giving, corporate solicitation, alumni/ae and donor recognition. Create and maintain positive relationships with community leaders, Foundation Board members and prospects to gain financial support and influence on behalf of CSN. Identify, research and cultivate individuals, foundations and corporations as prospective donors. Promote gift giving internally at CSN and serve as source of information on gift procedures.

Responsibilities:  Provide leadership, guidance, and coordination for the college’s diversity efforts. The Office of Diversity & Cultural Affairs was established to address diversity and multiculturalism related issues. Those issues include access, equity, retention, and recruitment for faculty and students. Additionally CSN will facilitate professional development for diversity as it pertains to Culture, Race, Gender and Religion and their impact in the classroom and campus. As CSN and the Nevada increases it’s population of international students and diverse students, we will work diligently to prepare our future workforce to compete in a global marketplace and to establish bridges between CSN and K-12

Responsibilities:  The Faculty Senate Chair Elect is elected by academic faculty to a one year term as the Senate Chair, preceded by one year as Chair-Elect, and followed by one year as Immediate Past Chair. The Chair Elect assists the Senate Chair in all activities of the Senate, and assumes the duties of the Senate Chair in the case of absence or incapacity of the Chair. The Chair Elect serves on the Senate leadership team and as a member of the President’s Cabinet.
