Interim Recruitment Coordinator
Ms. Walton is a native of Las Vegas and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Communication Studies. She plans to obtain her Master's of Arts Degree in Communication Studies, with an emphasis in interpersonal and rhetorical studies. Ms. Walton is a strong advocate for education and believes that it is the key to success. She is very active in her community and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Recruitment & Retention Specialist
Mr. Masoka is an enrolled member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota Oyate of the Lake Traverse Reservation in South Dakota. He is originally from Washington, D.C. Mr. Masoka graduated from the Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas, with an Associate of Arts in Media Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in American Indian Studies. After graduating, Chuck moved to Las Vegas, where he now considers himself at home. Mr. Masoka thinks that while it is a bit warm here, it is also a great community that is very supportive of newcomers and locals alike.

Recruitment & Retention Specialist
Ms. Navarrete is a former College of Southern Nevada student. She earned her Associate of Arts in Business Management with an emphasis in International Business and Languages in 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business and Latin American Culture at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2006. She identifies with CSN students who want to change their lives and build a brighter future for themselves and their families. She believes that CSN is a stepping stone for any individual or foreign born student, like herself, to enhance their professional skills and expand their career choices.

Recruitment & Retention Specialist
Ms. Hamel is a Las Vegas native and the first in her immediate family to earn a college degree. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2001. She is currently completing a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies from UNLV and taught undergraduate courses in Public Speaking. Also a previous CSN student, Ms. Phillips-Hamel enjoys assisting incoming students in completing the admissions process and sharing what motivated her to obtain an education. As a Recruitment & Retention Specialist, she can't imagine loving her job more.

Ms. Llamas is originally from Southern California and graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in French. She is currently completing a Masters degree in Public Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Ms. Llamas is a first generation college student, who is passionate about promoting higher education. She has worked in higher education for over 9 years because she firmly believes in the positive impact an education can have in someone's life. She enjoys meeting with prospective students and parents to ensure a smooth transition into college.
