Clubs and Organizations: Multicultural Club, Student Government, CSN Collegiate Review Freelance Reporter, Las Vegas Association of Black Journalists
Interests: Writing horror, science-fiction, historical-fiction, and romance stories. Also, writing advice articles or columns. Playing the saxophone, singing and dancing, and cooking soul food.
Future Plans: To become a television anchor, attain a Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Broadcast Journalism, and start a charity or foundation.
Why CSN? CSN is an institution where new and returning students can feel comfortable, and feel as though they are a part of a family or community.

Advice for new students: Explore various subjects before deciding on a major. Ask for help because CSN offers a variety of very important services.

Major: Journalism- Mass Media
Interests: Being creative, painting, reading, cooking.
Future Plans: To be a news anchor on a network news station.
Why CSN? CSN offers a lower tuition in a more intimate setting.

Major: Psychology
Clubs and Organizations: Obama for America, American Field Service
Interests: Traveling, fashion, film, books, learning foreign languages, art, and American politics.
Future Plans: To rule the world! Just kidding. Let’s start with getting my Bachelors Degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Why CSN? It’s a good starting off place that enables you to transition to a 4 year college or university. Plus it’s a beautiful campus!

Advice for new students: Become involved and participate in as many activities as possible. It is the best way to make new friends!

Major: Deaf Studies and Anthropology
Clubs and Organizations: Anthropology Club
Interests: The harmonica, poetry, politics, camping, and volunteering.
Future plans: After I attain my Bachelor’s Degree, I intend on joining the Peace Corps and I plan on becoming a high school teacher.
Why CSN? CSN is flexible and has a great faculty that is always willing to answer any questions.

Interests: Anything with drama, music, art and science, but above all, life!
Future Plans: To open up minds and change lives one film at a time.
Why CSN? In order to succeed, I must take the steps to reach my goal. CSN is the stairway that will help me reach the top. This college strives to help its students, and not only does it offer great opportunities, but the faculty is amazing! To learn from people who are so passionate about their profession is priceless.

Future Plans: Venture into becoming a profitable small business owner and become active in the stock market.
Why CSN: There’s always someone willing to help in all of my classes. There is also a friendly and laid back attitude on campus which I find to be the ideal educational setting for me.
