What is a WOWI Test?

The World of Work Inventory is a multivocational career Testing instrument derived from the U.S. Department of Labor's database. The three basic parts of the WOWI are designed to measure the individual uniqueness related to specific job tasks, worker trait characteristics, and desired life style.

The Career Interest Activities section explores the individual's preferences for tasks and activities relevant to the jobs in which most people engage. The Job Satisfaction Indicators section includes the 12 temperament factors listed in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles and is specifically related to the worker placement and adjustment. The Vocational Training Potentials section measures the possession of the entry level skills or the possible potentials for benefiting from further training.

The WOWI may be administered on-line or by paper-and-pencil.

How much is the test fee?

The fee to take the WOWI is $40.00. Part of the fee is allocated to an interpretation counseling session to review the test results, answer questions, and explorer some options.

How long does the WOWI take?

The WOWI takes about two hours to complete. The answer sheet is sent to the publisher for scoring and takes about two to four weeks to be processed.

What is a Strong and MBTI Type Indicator?

Strong and MBTI Type Indicator Testings are designed to identify four categories. The categories include: work environments and tasks that you may find satisfying, specific occupation that offer good possibilities for exploration, strategies for career development and tactics for your personality preferences to stay motivated during the career exploration process.

The Strong and MBTI Type Indicator Testings are administered on-line. The Testing may be taken either at a Testing Center or in your home, at your convenience via the Internet.

How much is the test fee?

The Strong and MBTI Type Indicator assessment takes about two hours to complete. Upon completion, a report is generated and given to a counselor, who will contact you to make an appointment for interpretation.
