Tuition and Fees

 

Fall 2009 & Spring 2010

Application Fee: $5.00 one-time, nonrefundable fee charged to new students only.

Resident Tuition:  (Nonresident tuiton apply based on nonresident status)

      Lower Division (000-200 level courses): $60.00 per credit.  

      Upper Division (300-400 level courses): $98.25 per credit.  

 **  Surcharge Fee:  $3.00 per credit for Lower Division.  ** This fee is effective Spring 2010

                                    $4.50 per credit for Upper Division.

Technology Fee: $5.50 per credit for all courses.

Online Course Fee: $10.00 per online course.

Course Fee:  Some courses have a fee associated with the course.  To see if there is a course fee for the specific course consult the schedule.

Nevada High School Dual Enrollment or OnLine Course Fee: $25.00 in addition to technology, lab, and/or online fee.  (Nonrefundable once classes begin)

Good Neighbor Fee: $36.00 Lower Division, $59.00 Upper Division per credit in addition to resident tuition and technology fee.    Petitionforgoodneighbor.pdf

Western Undergraduate Exchange program (WUE): $30.00 Lower Division, $49.13 Upper Division, in addition to resident tuition and technology fee.   PETITIONFORWUE.pdf

Nonresident Fee: $66.00 Lower Division, $108.00 Upper Division  per credit nonresident tuition in addition to resident tuition and technology fee, assessed on all nonresident students registering for up to six credits; $3,094.00 per semester nonresident tuition in addition to resident tuition and technology fee, assessed on all nonresident students enrolled in seven or more credits.  To apply for residency there is a deadline to apply.

Nonresident Online Fee : nonresident students enrolled exclusively in all distance education courses will, in addition to resident tuition, pay reduced nonresident tuition equaling 50% or 1/2 the total nonresident fee (Board of Regents, 04/02-- must be residing outside of NV).  To receive the adjustment, please contact any Cashier’s Office.

Senior Citizens: Nevada residents age 62 or older may audit or register for credit in any course (subject to availability) without paying tuition fees. You will be required to pay the one-time, nonrefundable $5.00 application fee charged to all new students and any other applicable course fees.

Late Registration Fee: $5.00 per day to a maximum of $25.00 per semester for students registering for any number of credits/or classes.

 

Summer 2009 Semester

Application Fee: $5.00 one-time, nonrefundable fee charged to new students only.

MISC FEES

ID Cards:  $2.00 with a current semester class schedule.

Transcript Ordering Fees:  $2.00 per transcript.  Optional Overnight fee: US $15 and International $28.

Graduation Application Fee:  $15.00 per degree or certificate (non refundable).

Graduation Application Late Fee:  $5.00 (See dates and deadlines)(nonrefundable).

Diploma Mailing Fee:  $5.00 per diploma (nonrefundable).

Nontraditional Examination Fee:  $25.00 per exam (nonrefundable).

Challenge Course Fee:  $25.00 per course (nonrefundable).
