The College of Southern Nevada has launched a degree in Cloud System Administration. Our degree prepares you for cloud computing system administration jobs by educating you in the most in demand skills from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, RedHat and CompTIA

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics job growth for computer and information technology occupations will grow 15 percent this decade, 2021-2031 which is faster than average for all occupations recorded by BLS. These workers create or support computer applications, systems, and networks.

Computing and Information Technology: Networking- Cloud Systems Administration, AAS

This program is designed to provide an opportunity to establish a technical foundation in creating scalable, highly available cloud computing solutions. Students will deploy and maintain multi-cloud services that are responsive to information and computing technology workload needs following best practices in cloud security, cost, and reliability.

Coverage includes the management and security of devices and data connecting to cloud services. Graduates are prepared for positions as entry-level Systems Administrator, Cloud Support Specialist, Cloud Technician or Cloud Solutions Architect Associate.
