Introducing ComPsych, your free Employee Assistance Program.

The College of Southern Nevada wants to create a healthy, supportive work environment for all of its employees.  The ComPsych program is designed to give employees free, confidential assistance with personal issues, including:

• Confidential Counseling – marital, relationship, and family problems; stress, anxiety and depression; grief and loss, job pressures, and substance abuse.

• Work-Life Solutions – research and quality referrals for child care and elder care, moving, pet care, college planning, home repair, buying a car, planning an event, selling a house, and more.

• Legal Guidance – with the GuidanceResources program, you have an attorney “on-call” for legal matters such as divorce, custody, adoption, real estate, debt and bankruptcy, landlord/tenant issues, civil and criminal actions, and more.  If you require representation, you can be referred to a qualified attorney for a free 30-minute consultation and a 25% reduction in customary legal fees.

• Financial Information – retirement planning, taxes, relocation, mortgages, insurance, budgeting, debt, bankruptcy, and more.

• GuidanceResources Online Support – available 24/7 for vital information, tools, and support

When you call the ComPsych program, a professional consultant can listen to your questions and concerns provide a confidential sounding board, and help find solutions and resources to help.  ComPsych consultants are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can also set up your own personal account at www.guidanceresources.com, to watch short educational videos, read or download articles, take interactive self-assessments, e-mail consultants, find online resources, and much more.  ComPsych services are brought to employees free of charge by the College of Southern Nevada and it's completely confidential.

In addition to the support that ComPsych offers employees, the program has extra tools and resources to help our managers and supervisors.
