Students will be awarded in the following priority order:

- Second Tier- Full-time enrollment with at least 6 credits in 300/400 level courses and no Federal Pell grant awarded.
- Third Tier - If funding is available, the selection will include full-time students with a Student Aid Index (SAI) of 5,000 or higher with a minimal Federal Pell grant awarded. The scholarship would cover the difference between the Pell Grant and the CSN First-time Bachelor Scholarship. (Not to exceed the maximum scholarship award.)

Scholarship awards are posted to your Financial Aid awards section beginning in August of each year for the Fall semester, and in early January after grades for the fall semester have been reviewed for the Spring semester.
Please note: Students in their final semester before graduation who are unable to meet the 9-credit minimum enrollment requirement are encouraged to apply for Mission Graduation. The scholarship cannot be prorated for less than the 9-credit minimum.
