Students who enroll in the Communication Program get both a foundation in communication theory and the skills to master communication in practice. Our courses help students become effective communicators in interpersonal, group and public settings; to become critical thinkers who can make informed, reasoned and equitable decisions; and to understand that communicating in the workplace often involves communication across cultures. Most of our students go on to transfer to four-year institutions.
Why Study Communication at CSN?
A communication background can lead to careers in business, public relations, entertainment, marketing or writing, among many others. Some communication careers may require a more advanced degree.
