Why Study Food and Beverage Management at CSN?

Our program is designed to train students using hands-on, practical training in our on-campus restaurant and kitchens and features hospitality management courses, culinary courses, and related food and beverage management courses.

Associate of applied science degrees and certificates of achievement are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration and the American Culinary Federation (ACF).

The ACF ranks our program as ‘Exemplary’, indicating the highest educational standards recognized by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission.

Our graduates can seek foodservice employment opportunities such as restaurant supervisor, bar manager, and independent food service operator, among many others.

Food Service Operations: BAS

This program consists of higher-level course work in food and beverage management, and general education which enable students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in the fast-paced and ever-changing food service operations work environment.

Food and Beverage Management: AAS

This program consists of coursework in food and beverage management, culinary arts, and general education which enable students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in the work environment.

Food and Beverage Management: CA

This program, consisting of food and beverage management courses and culinary courses, is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in their food service careers.
