Students in the Health Information Technology (HIT) Program are prepared to work with electronic health records in the ever-changing healthcare arena including organizing health information, compiling health statistics, coding disease diagnoses, and enforcing the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

NOTE: The Health Information Technology Program is a limited entry program. Students must attend a health programs orientation and meet with a health programs advisor for additional counseling prior to application.
