The Department of Nursing educates and graduates competent, compassionate, caring nurses and nursing assistants to meet the diverse healthcare needs of our community. Students learn in our state-of-the-art educational, laboratory, and clinical facilities while working toward a Certificate of Achievement in Practical Nursing or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing. We also offer a one-semester Nursing Assistant course and refresher courses for nurses with inactive Nevada licenses who wish to return to the workforce.
Take a look at our programs. Contacts are provided on each page if more information is needed.
ATTENTION:
New students wishing to pursue a limited-entry program MUST attend, or have attended, a Health Programs Orientation PRIOR to scheduling an appointment with a Health Programs Advisor. Visit the Health Programs Orientation page (Step 7) for orientation options.
