Volunteers will have different tasks such as helping unload trucks, deliver supplies to stations, set up decor, pass out waters, packing up, and loading the trucks at the end of the event.RSVP
4/26/2025Girls on the Run Spring 2025 5KFirst, you will transform the UNLV Campus into a true GOTR 5K Celebration. You will set up barricades, hang team signs, put up the GOTR photo backdrop and selfie station, set up the Gratitude Wall, put up the finish line and set up the Inspiration Station, and get registration all set for arriving participants. Then, the magic begins! You'll help participants find their parking location and make their way to the event, provide registration and general guidance on what's where, guide the team parade, cheer along the course, hand out water at the Hydration Station, hand out medals at the finish line, and distribute snacks to finishers!RSVP
4/26/2025YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2025Healthy Kids Day will be held on April 26 at the Durango Hills YMCA. This event offers families a safe space to enjoy being active as a family. Volunteers will assist with the setup and break down of the event, as well as with running games and stations.RSVP

4/12/2025Easter at the YEaster at the Y will be held on April 12, 2025 from 11-1pm at the Centennial Hills YMCA. This event offers families a safe space to enjoy Easter festivities. Egg hunt, vendors, games, music and so much more are offered. We rely on volunteers to run activities and assist with the egg hunt, setup, and breakdown of the event. 4/5/20259th Annual National Sibling Day FestivalIn partnership with FOX5 and its "Take 5 To Care program", St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, will hold its 9th Annual National Siblings Day Festival to raise awareness of brothers and sisters separated in foster care.
The free public event invites brothers and sisters and the entire community to attend and enjoy carnival games, prizes, giveaways, and more.
Each year various teams of volunteers come together to make this celebration a success.
Though not specifically held in the Henderson community, this event impacts our youth here and across all of Southern Nevada. Come join us at The Piazza at Tivoli Village. 
Volunteers must be at least 16-years hold to serve at this event.

4/5/2025Beaglefest Las Vegas - Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue FoundationVolunteers will be needed to pick up the yard during the event and work in certain areas of the event where needed. It is mentioned should any volunteer be a musician or entertainer and could volunteer their time, to please let them know as well. The event is dog friendly so advise those with dog allergies to be cautious.RSVP

Help unload pallets of food and load items into the clients' vehicles in a drive-through setup. Please dress comfortably, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen, as you will be outdoors for the entire event.RSVP

How to Access Nevada Promise Virtual Engagement Events


GENERAL INFORMATION
Some Nevada Promise Events are held online using the Microsoft (MS) Teams Application. To access MS Teams, you must properly download the MS Teams application.

ENROLLED STUDENTS
As a CSN student, you have access to a number of digital collaboration tools and one main tool is Office 365 where your CSN Outlook Email is located.

  1. Follow the instructions below, or WATCH THIS VIDEO ON HOW TO SET UP CSN EMAIL & DOWNLOAD MS TEAMS.
  2. Once in your Email, locate the App Launcher at the top left, next to the word Outlook.
  3. Select MS Teams  and download.
  4. When you register to attend a Nevada Promise Event, you will be sent an MS Teams link to use to go to the event online on the date and time registered.

If you have difficulty downloading MS Teams, please email us at Contact Us so we can assist you. We recommend you download the app at least 24 hours in advance of the event.
